Tier 2 Telecom OEM Excess Disposition
$500M Revenue Telecom Equipment Manufacturer located in United States has surplus/excess inventory of obsolete components. A new project prompted the immediate scheduled disposition of the excess items. Management perspective assigned little value to the now obsolete parts. TJR Global submitted data indicating that international demand was still present for this obsolete lot. TJR Global marketed the lot as consigned stock, and in 6 months recouped $227,000 – which was well above this OEM’s book value. Remaining items were sold as a lot, and floor-space was made available.

Product Substitution / Drop In Replacement
$900M Contract Manufacturer and existing TJR Global customer requested assistance for a market related shortage. TJR Global, as Authorized Distributor recommended substitute product manufactured by Passive Plus. Product was sampled from stock to the CM, item was tested and approved by both CM and end customer. Item was subsequently added to the production Bill Of Material.

The TJR Commodity Team responds and locates surplus inventory from an OEM partner located in Canada. The shortage component is en-route to the Romanian facility within 6 hours of the customer’s initial call to TJR Global
